Public-private partnerships (PPP)

are cooperations between the public sector and private industry in the design, planning, construction, financing, management, operation and utilization of public services that were previously the sole responsibility of the state. Public-private partnerships thus represent a procurement alternative for the state to conventional self-implementation.
